BECOMING FEARLESS
After 15 years working my way up the PR career ladder, I took two leaps of faith in April 2014. First, I left my job as PR Director at Weight Watchers UK to start up my own PR business, and then I went on my first ever skiing holiday.
Standing on top a mountain in the French Alps, about to launch myself down a (what felt like) sheer vertical drop, seemed the craziest, most illogical thing I could do. It took immense grit and self-belief to lean forward and push. I still can’t believe I did it - and survived to tell the tale.
Whilst on that holiday, I concluded that if I was brave enough to ski down my first mountain at the age of forty, running a successful PR business was completely within my grasp.
I just needed to be fearless.
